| Details | Come and hear the winner of the 2009 2nd International Israeli Music Competition, the London Myriad Ensemble, play a varied and exuberant programme as part of this recital series at St. Peter's Church in Notting Hill including a mix of duos, trios and quartets for wind instruments. St Peter’s is on Kensington Park Road and was designed by the architect, Thomas Allom, as an integral part of his design for Kensington Park Gardens, Stanley crescent and Stanley Gardens and is a few minutes walk away from Notting Hill Gate tube station. The church has a beautiful atmosphere and lovely acoustics. The concert is free with tea, cakes and biscuits afterwards. Please don't miss this opportunity and please come and support us!! The London Myriad Ensemble will give a mid-course pre- concert talk and the performance of a fundamental work for wind quintet. This will be followed by an open discussion and question/answer session about the piece, about performing as a quintet with room for specific instrument questions. This course is a chance to bring along some important works for wind ensemble for detailed work alongside this young and dynamic quintet.
