About the Ensemble

Since its conception as a professional chamber group in 2004, the prizewinning London Myriad Ensemble has performed regularly both in the UK and internationally and is one of the leading wind ensembles of their generation in the UK today. All successful freelance orchestral and chamber musicians in their own right, the group has performed at prestigious venues such as the Purcell Room, St. Martin-in-the-Fields and the State Drawing Room in 11 Downing Street, as well as live on BBC Radio 3. They also regularly lead education workshops, championing new works for wind chamber ensemble, and performing music of all styles and genres for a wide range of events and functions. Their debut CD of French and British works for wind quartet by Francaix, Bozza, Rodney-Bennett, Ibert, Arrieu and Bridge was released in October 2019 on Divine Art's 'Metier' label and features the world premiere of 'Suite en Quatre' by Claude Arrieu. The ensemble plans to release a second partner CD, FOUR2, featuring newly commissioned works for wind quartet.

More information about the ensemble can be found on the 'biographies' page.

Latest news

A great review of London Myriad's recently released album, 'FOUR' by 'Music Notes.'

'The four in FOUR are formidable musicians, impeccable technicians. Music that is now lyrical, now outrageously humorous, and blessedly unpretentious. Out of this world!'
